David Biel (Milwaukee-based electronic composer) 6pm


Biel is an honors grad from UW-Milwaukee with a B.F.A. Degree and knowledge of both classical and jazz piano styles.  





Influenced by Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Prog Rock, Classical, Funk, Ambient New Age, and Techno styles, his specialty is improvising--d



rawing on his experience as a keyboardist for two Top 40 bands. Biel recently produced a CD of his original music composed on the synthesizer. Audio samples can be found on his website, www.bielworks.com. One of his published pieces, "Runaround Rock" was honored with inclusion in the National Federation of Music Clubs competition list.







Don Peachey Band (classic Wisconsin polka & dancehall band) 7pm


The Don Peachey Band plays all styles of music -- Big Band, Waltzes, Foxtrots, etc.


  • Honored recipient of the Lifetime Achievement and Senior awards by the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame

  • Band of the Year - Wisconsin Orchestra Leaders Association

  • Accordionist Don Peachey was inducted into the Polka Hall of Fame in 1999 after may years of pleasing audiences and personal appearances at all the leading ballrooms.  The Don Peachey Band played their first public dance in June of 1951 and released their first recordings in 1957.  Except for 2 years in the army, the Orchestra has kept a busy schedule playing for many loyal fans mostly in Wisconsin but they make a yearly tour to Texas and have played in 11 states.
